You have an idea? Just write. Write and write and write. Just do whatever you can to get that idea down.
It doesn’t have to be perfect the first try. That’s what the first draft’s for! (Is anything really perfect the first try?)
One of my favourite sayings is; ‘You can’t edit a blank page’ it’s so motivating, because it’s so true. If you’ve written nothing down, your story’s going nowhere. Your plot stalls. Characters remain undeveloped. And self-doubt comes knocking…
If you want something to happen with your idea, your story, YOU have to put the time and effort in…
You’ve got to go there to come back.
So go there. Write.
