Turning the page...

Most quotes/phrases/sentiments of empowerment are much easier said than done. But when we read them, we feel it. We believe it’s the right thing to do – the best thing to do.

We don’t realise until it’s too late that life is so short. There is no time to waste over negativity or failures. So package those moments as lessons. Pieces of our puzzles that made us stronger and remind us so.

Our lives are played out in scenes – scenes which we haven’t seen the script to, so we’re improvising, making decisions on the spot. We don’t always make the right decisions, but hopefully we get the chance to learn from them – or if anything else, our wrong decision was the opportunity to teach someone else a lesson so they don’t make the same mistake.

Some people have a harder time than others letting go of the past and/or moving on. Some people are uncomfortable with the thought of change or something new. But if we don’t experience new things, how are we to grow?

Moving on from a ‘chapter’ in your life can only be flourishing.

‘Turning the page’ is not a sign of weakness, but of strength and liberation.
